The hotel was built in 1984. Avraam Miletskiy, the author of project, realized the spirit of Soviet futurism, constructivism and the flight of technical thought of that period both in exterior and interior of the building. Due to extraordinary architecture and it`s excellent location in the heart of Pechersk central district, the hotel Salute could be considered as one of the symbols of Kiev.
